How we built a dual-focus platform that serves healthcare professionals, educates patients, and enables online ordering of personalized preparations
Generation Y designed and developed the new website for Cocoon Lab, the compounding pharmacy laboratory based in Crete that designs and prepares personalized pharmaceutical formulations. The result is a platform built around two audiences at once: the healthcare professionals who prescribe compounded medications, and the patients who receive them. At its center sits a practical highlight, the ability to order a personalized preparation online, directly through the site.
About Cocoon Lab
Cocoon Lab is a compounding laboratory that combines pharmaceutical preparation with modern scientific documentation. Every formulation is prepared according to international quality and control standards, ensuring safety, stability, and therapeutic effectiveness. From dermatology and hair loss to women's and men's health, pediatrics, pain management, and hard-to-find medications, the laboratory covers a wide range of therapeutic needs, always guided by one principle: each patient is unique, and their treatment should be too.
The Challenge: Two Audiences, One Platform
Compounding pharmacy sits at an interesting intersection. On one side are healthcare professionals who need scientific detail, clear therapeutic categories, and a credible sense of what the laboratory can prepare. On the other are patients, many encountering compounded medication for the first time, who need reassuring information about what it is and how it can help them. A single website had to speak to both without diluting either, and that dual focus shaped every decision in the project.
