GENERATION Y TACKLES CHALLENGES: GUIDES DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND EXPORTS EXPERTISE
WITH PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGIES, AI AND MEASURABLE RESULTS, IT PROVES THAT INNOVATION IS A STRATEGIC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
With two decades of experience, international footprint and a team that combines expertise, vision and commercial insight, Generation Y guides digital transformation, as it stands at the forefront of major digital development projects in Europe. For us, technology is not a title, but a responsibility to redefine commerce in the digital space.
Generation Y pioneered by transforming B2C brands that had never had an online presence, developing the first comprehensive B2B eCommerce solutions and exporting Greek technology and expertise to foreign markets, having now gained a strong footprint in Southeast Europe.
Innovation is in our DNA. The R&D department works closely with the commercial team, combining insights with commercial insight, so that every solution responds to real market needs. From GY Fast Eshop, which improved speed for businesses to digitize during the pandemic, to Datalyzer, the platform that responds to the explosion of advertising costs, enabling businesses to reduce customer acquisition costs and increase the return on utilizing their first party data, which until now remained unexploited.
Our strength lies in our people, a team with many years of shared journey, experience and passion. This synergy of expertise, innovation and vision is what keeps Generation Y firmly in a leading position in the digital ecosystem.
MILESTONE DECISIONS
If I look back at our journey, the most decisive decisions were those that shaped the way we think as an organization. Early on, we chose to operate targeting measurable results – every idea, technology or communication starts with the question “what value will it bring and how will it be measured?”. This is the reason why Generation Y evolved from a digital agency to a strategic growth partner for businesses.
The investment in technology production with the creation of the Generation Next e-commerce platform and the choice to move from the role of agency to that of technology provider, providing end-to-end omnichannel solutions. The creation of the R&D department and the equipment, which led us to projects and partnerships with good countries, were the foundations of this evolution.
At the same time, we invested in our people – in training, in continuous skills upgrading and in strengthening our belief that innovation demands imagination only when it translates into real business development.
MEASURABLE RESULTS
Today, when customer acquisition costs are increasing and data is more critical but also more difficult to access, Generation Y redefines how performance is measured. We do not respond to performance only from our two campaigns, but as an integral part of the technological architecture itself.
For us, measurable results – is every digital intervention that improves functionality, experience and ultimately the profitability of a business. It can be increased sales or reduced customer acquisition cost, but equally important is the automation of processes that free up resources or the strengthening of repeatability and loyalty through an integrated B2C and B2B ecosystem.
From the strategic phase to the launch, every solution is designed with the client’s financial KPIs in mind – not vanity metrics. We integrate the measurement framework within the eCommerce ecosystem itself, connecting sales, marketing and CRM data, so that every action is valued with precision.
To achieve this, we leverage a combination of proprietary technologies and AI-driven data analysis, integrated into the Generation Next ecosystem – from the eCommerce engine and CRM to Datalyzer.
Generation Y is more than a technology or marketing company – it is the point where technological architecture meets strategic communication and marketing intelligence, operating uniformly with one goal: real, measurable business results.
THE CHALLENGES
Every organization with a two-decade history goes through a period of transition at some point. For Generation Y, the biggest challenge of recent years was the two-year transitional leadership phase, which followed the departure of the company’s co-founder from the position of CEO in 2022 until the current team took over management in 2024. In the meantime, the absence of stable decision-making temporarily affected both our operational cohesion and our commercial dynamics.
When I took over in 2024, I chose to treat this challenge as an opportunity for redesign. We created a more horizontal management model, strengthened the speed of decision-making and daily communication between departments, strengthened the speed of service and reopened dialogue with our clients. At the same time, we restored commercial dynamics with new products, new projects and strategic partnerships.
Today, Generation Y has energy, clear direction and the trust of its team and clients. The transitional stage is being completed and 2026 finds us stronger in results, in vision and, above all, in cohesion.
THE NEXT GOALS
I believe that the coming years will be determined by how businesses will leverage artificial intelligence, data and SaaS ecosystems, to truly transform. Markets are becoming increasingly competitive, not only locally, but also internationally, as large foreign chains expand and absorb market share. The challenge is now global.
Generation Y is preparing for this new era by investing in modular SaaS products that incorporate AI, and in technological infrastructures that help businesses organize, consolidate and leverage their data, making decisions based on real time. At the same time, we are investing in the further development of digital solutions for B2B, the least digitally transformed sector not only in Europe, but also globally. We want to give these businesses, which form the backbone of their economies, the tools to become more efficient, more outward-looking and essentially more competitive.
Our goal is to export even more Greek technology and expertise, offering solutions that can stand equally in any international market and strengthen the development of entire business ecosystems.
At the same time, we remain deeply human-centered. We build a culture of collaboration, continuous learning and shared responsibility, because we believe that technology without people with vision has no value. The future for us means business and economic development, with Generation Y operating as a partner that inspires, empowers and drives change.
