Custom B2B Platform
Pantelis Papadopoulos S.A.
50,000+ product codes. One platform that knows what every partner needs.
Pantelis Papadopoulos S.A. serves an extensive nationwide network of retail stores and professionals, distributing machinery, equipment and spare parts from a broad portfolio of international manufacturers, from Husqvarna and GARDENA to Oregon, Honda Engines, Michelin, Loncin, Grillo, Cifarelli and other recognised brands. We designed and developed a mobile-first, purpose-built platform for B2B retail operations that transforms a catalogue of more than 50,000 product and spare-part codes into a fast, personalised and fully connected commercial experience, where each partner sees the brands, products, promotions, pricing and information assigned to their account, while the same platform supports ordering, spare-parts discovery, financial information, after-sales service and sales activity toward the end customer.

The challenge
Volume was only the beginning.
The platform had to manage more than 50,000 product and spare-part codes while serving a nationwide partner network with different permissions, commercial relationships and product portfolios.
Each customer and branch needed access only to the manufacturers and product ranges they were authorised to sell. The same logic had to apply to promotions, campaigns and communications, ensuring that every partner received relevant content rather than generic information unrelated to their business.
Search was a critical operational tool. Professionals often search for specific codes that may be entered in different formats or without the special characters used in the official product reference. At the same time, the system had to understand user intent and display complete products before spare parts.
Husqvarna spare-part identification introduced another level of complexity. A single machine may consist of dozens or even hundreds of individual components, each with its own official part number. Partners needed to identify the exact component visually, match it to the correct commercial code and order it without relying on static PDFs, phone calls or error-prone manual searches.
The solution also had to support very different ways of working, from searching for a single product code to importing dozens of items at once, as well as using the platform in front of the end customer as a product presentation and sales tool.
Our approach
Custom software designed around the partner’s daily workflow.
Rather than adapting the network’s real processes to the limitations of a standard B2B platform, we designed the solution around the way partners search for products, create orders, manage promotions, access information and serve their own customers.
The mobile-first approach ensures that key functions remain fast and easy to use across any device. For larger orders, we developed a basket-creation mechanism through a simple Excel upload, allowing users to enter dozens of product codes and quantities within seconds.
Search was fully customised around the specific product structure. It recognises product codes even when entered without special characters, prioritises complete products over spare parts and guides the partner toward the correct result within an exceptionally large and technical catalogue.
Through entitlement rules at customer and branch level, each partner sees only the manufacturers and ranges they are authorised to represent. The same logic applies to content: banners, promotions and campaigns adapt dynamically to each account, keeping the information relevant to the user’s actual commercial activity.
We also developed new brand-specific promotion pages, resolving a long-standing challenge in the digital presentation of commercial offers. At the same time, every product page clearly displays the active campaigns in which that particular item participates.
A custom visual spare-parts discovery and ordering application.
Using official Husqvarna spare-parts data accessed through an API, we developed a complete custom application within the B2B environment.
For every supported machine, the application displays an interactive exploded-view diagram showing all the individual components that make up the product. A synchronised spare-parts list appears alongside the illustration, presenting each component as a separate product.
When a user selects a component directly from the diagram, the corresponding item is automatically highlighted in the list. The partner can then review the details, confirm the correct code and add it directly to the order without leaving the platform.
The application handles the mapping between the official spare-part code and the corresponding B2B product code. When the item is commercially available, purchasing is enabled immediately. When it is not, the partner is directed to the appropriate service team.
This transforms a complex technical process into a guided visual journey: from the machine diagram to the correct spare part and into the cart, within the same platform.
Personalised information, directly from the ERP.
Within the “My Updates” section, we brought together all the information relevant only to the specific partner: order history, open-order status, financial data, products subject to special VAT rates, after-sales and service information, a digital library and support requests.
On every product page, we added a “Product Purchase History” function. Through a real-time ERP call, the partner can view all previous purchases of that specific item, including date, document number, quantity, unit price, discount, final price and net value.
This gives the user immediate visibility into when the product was previously purchased and under which commercial terms, without searching through old invoices or contacting the back office.
The B2B platform as a sales tool for the end customer.
With a simple toggle, the partner can hide purchase prices across the entire platform.
This allows products, specifications and available options to be presented directly to the end customer without revealing the partner’s acquisition cost. With one more click, prices reappear.
The function transforms the B2B platform from a procurement tool into a secure sales-support tool, while protecting the partner’s commercial margin.
The results
From an ordering system to an everyday commercial operations tool.
The platform transformed an exceptionally large and technically complex catalogue into an experience built around speed, accuracy and relevance.
Partners can now create large orders faster, identify products and spare parts more accurately and access personalised commercial and financial information without depending continuously on phone calls or manual back-office support.
Promotions, products, banners and information adapt to each customer account, while the real-time ERP integration provides the official financial and commercial picture at the moment it is needed.
The custom spare-parts application allows the partner to begin with the image of a machine, identify the exact component and complete the order within the same environment. The result is a faster and more reliable process, with a lower risk of error and a significant advantage in supporting the end customer.
Functions such as Excel ordering, product purchase history, brand-level personalisation and price hiding expand the platform’s role, from a B2B ordering portal into an integrated tool for product discovery, after-sales support and everyday selling.
Its modular architecture also creates a stable foundation for continuous evolution as the product portfolio, partner network and needs of the supported international brands continue to grow.
The more complex the commercial operation, the simpler the partner experience should be.
